September 2023: Apple Picking and Tree Planting

We had a successful weekend when 25 friends helped with our apple harvest producing 23 crates and 4.5 buckets of apples which the majority were taken to the National Trust farm in Llandeilo for washing, crushing and juicing. We also planted 1 Alder, 7 Redwoods and 6 Douglas Fir trees this weekend.

Sowelu celebrated her 9th birthday by getting her ears pierced and she enjoyed her ice cream cake. Our lovely wwoofer from France was Thao who was a huge help with weeding, planting and apple picking amongst other jobs. Visitors from Oxford and Suffolk came and enjoyed a visit to the Botanical Gardens.
