August 2019: Busy month and accident
Stuart managed to badly cut his fingers on the table saw resulting in 4 hours surgery to repair the damage and limited use for the next 12 weeks. We purchased an electric log splitter so will never have to buy logs to burn again. The goji berries were moved from the polytunnel to the fruit cage which is now covered with netting. Work started on building the new yurt platform. An early birthday celebration for Sowelu was enjoyed before Heather, Matt and Sowelu left to return to Costa Rica at the end of the month. We also attended the Big Cwtch Festival at the end of the month gaining a lot of interest in Stuart's woodwork. A flowering cherry tree was planted to mark the occasion of Violet's birth last year.
