July 2018: Fire

A fire started on our neighbor's land and quickly spread to one of our fields burning 22 bales of hay, 400 meters of fencing, some woodland and most of the field in an hour. 12 firemen were here for 6 hours to stop the fire spreading. Very scary how fast it spread but we have had no rain for two months so everywhere is very dry. The family worked for a week clearing some land in preparation for planting some cherry trees which was hard work but rewarding result. Our yurt was once again erected.
