May 2014: Farewell Halcyon Plants; New cow/woodshed roof; Stuart's 30th
We sold Halcyon Plants Nursery this month so had to empty the polytunnel of all the plants plus pots, compost, seeds and sundries with packaging and the relevant computer software so a very busy time. Needless to say the empty polytunnels look very strange but we did keep a few plants for the land and started our indoor vegetable garden.
The damaged roof over the woodshed and cowshed was removed and replaced and general clean up done: a lot of work but great result.
Stuart celebrated his 30th birthday with a camping party over Bank Holiday weekend which went well. The usual fun and games went on ending with a hot tub dip.
I was pleased to hear my beadwork challenge entry of 'The Green Man' won Members' favourite vote at the Beadworkers Guild AGM.
